Nearly $70 million in unclaimed money is languishing in State Government coffers, prompting Treasurer Ben Wyatt to call on people to come forward and claim their cash.
Treasury has more than 500,000 cases of unclaimed money totalling $67.5 million — an increase of more than 50 per cent since June 2014 and more than $8 million more than this time last year.
